Ingredients
- 500g bread flour
- 7g instant yeast
- 10g salt
- 30g sugar
- 60g softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 200ml warm milk
- For filling:
- 100g butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 200g mozzarella, grated
- 50g cheddar, grated
Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Mix flour, yeast, salt, sugar. Add butter, eggs and warm milk. Knead 10 minutes until smooth.

2. Prove 1 hour until doubled.

3. Mix melted butter, garlic and parsley for the filling.

4. Roll dough into a 40x30cm rectangle. Brush with garlic butter, scatter cheese all over.

5. Roll into a tight log. Slice into 12 equal rounds.

6. Arrange cut-side up in a greased 23cm round tin, slightly touching.

7. Prove 45 mins until puffy. Brush tops with remaining garlic butter.

8. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
👨🍳 Chef's Notes
Do not overbake — pull them out when just golden. The residual heat will finish cooking the centres and keep the cheese melted.
